Flash memory products manufacturer SanDisk & Micron Technology showcased the world's first microSD card with 1 Terabyte storage capacity at Mobile World Congress 2005 in Barcelona, Spain. Smartphones nowadays are capable of holding as much data as a regular laptop, whether you go for a premium smartphone with 1TB storage capacity (Samsung Galaxy S10+ 1TB) or just insert a 1TB microSD card in your smartphone, both ways you can store enormous amounts of data and take it along with you.

Both SanDisk & Micron microSD cards are of A2 standard which means that they can even run apps on them.
Micron's 1TB microSD card will be coming to the market in the second quarter of this year, the pricing hasn't been revealed yet. SanDisk 1TB microSD card is priced at $449 and will be available around April this year.
