After the successful launch of the Realme 2 smartphone last month, the very young brand Realme is back with two new phones; Realme 2 Pro & Realme C1 smartphones. While the Realme 2 Pro is an upgrade over Realme 2 smartphone and comes with a dewdrop type notch display, the Realme C1 becomes the first smartphone under 10k to bring a notch display and a massive 4230 mAh battery. Overall both the smartphones pack serious power under their hoods and are priced quite aggressively, let check them out individually.

Realme 2 Pro Specifications
The major highlight of Realme 2 Pro is its gorgeous display, it packs a 6.3" inch IPS LCD display with 2340 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, a dew-drop style notch on the top, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning gorilla glass 3 protection. The body is made up of multiple polycarbonate layers which gives the sense of transparency with the beautiful dewdrop arc on the back which makes the smartphone comfortable to hold. The Realme 2 Pro comes with a huge upgrade over Realme 2 in the processor department, the Realme 2 Pro packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip Octa-core processor with AI instead of Snapdragon 450 which came with Realme 2. Along with the Snapdragon 660 SoC, Realme 2 Pro comes with Adreno 512 GPU and three RAM & Storage options; 4GB+64GB variant, 6GB+64GB variant and 8GB+128GB variant. It also comes with a dedicated microSD slot which supports microSD up to 256GB.
Coming to the cameras, the rear camera is a Dual-camera setup of 16+2 Megapixel sensors with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash and PDAF capability. The 2 Megapixel depth sensor helps blurring the background in portrait shots. The rear camera of Realme 2 Pro can shoot 4K videos (2160p) at 30 frames per second. The front camera is a 16 Megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. Out-of-the-box, Realme 2 Pro comes with Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2 on top.

The Realme C1 comes with a glass-like unibody design which is made up of plastic, the notch display is a 6.2" Inch IPS LCD of 1520 x 720 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and corning gorilla glass 3 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, Adreno 506 GPU and 2 GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256 GB by using microSD card and you get a dedicated microSD card slot on the device. Similar to Realme 2 Pro, the C1 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo topped with ColorOS 5.1 and a Dual SIM slot (Nano).

Realme 2 Pro will be available through flash sales exclusively via Flipkart, with first sale starting October 11, 2006 at 00:00 hrs. The Realme 2 Pro is priced Rs.13,990 for 4GB+64GB variant, Rs.15,990 for 6GB+64GB variant and Rs.17,990 for 8GB+128GB variant.
Realme C1 smartphone will be available through flash sales, exclusively via Flipkart, starting October 11, 2006 at 12:00 PM. The introductory price of Realme C1 2GB+16GB variant is Rs.6,999 INR.

Both the smartphones; Realme 2 Pro & Realme C1 seems to be one of the best in their respective segment according to their specifications, but to comment on their actual performance, I'll need to get my hands on them first. Kudos to Realme for bringing out the best technology in a budget segment.
